Gold Country 2.0 Expandable Channel Sections
Make Your Gold Country 2.0 Longer.
The Gold Country 2.0 was designed as a modular sluice system, so your original configuration doesn't have to be the final one.
Add individual channel sections to extend the recovery run and give material additional recovery-channel length and working surface before it exits the sluice.
Each expansion section connects to the existing Gold Country 2.0 modular system and includes its own mesh grid.
Build the Sluice Around Your Setup
Start with the standard Gold Country 2.0 configuration, then add sections when you want a longer working channel.
Additional sections can give you:
- More recovery-channel length
- Additional mesh-covered working surface
- More opportunities for heavy material to interact with the recovery system
- Flexibility to configure the sluice for different field setups
- A modular alternative to replacing the entire sluice with a longer model
The practical number of sections you use will depend on your water flow, available space, support, sluice angle, and field conditions.

That modular connection is what allows you to increase the working length without replacing the original system.
Miners Moss Compatible
The channel is designed to accommodate Miners Moss approximately 1 cm thick, giving you another recovery-surface option beneath the included mesh.
As with any sluice configuration, mat thickness and installation should still allow proper water and material movement through the channel.
PETG Construction
Each expansion section is manufactured from PETG for a practical combination of:
- Low water absorption
- Rust-free construction
- Structural rigidity
- Manageable field weight
- Good impact resistance
- Dimensional stability
The sections are made to become part of the same modular Gold Country 2.0 structure rather than functioning as unrelated add-ons.

Water velocity, sluice angle, feed rate, classification, gold size, sediment composition, and overall setup still affect recovery.
What the expansion system gives you is more room for the material to work through the recovery channel.
