The Full Backstory
A customer ordered our last remaining pre-PETG Next-Gen unit. During final test-fit — before it was boxed — we found that something wasn’t aligning correctly.
Rather than ship it anyway, we stopped the unit.
When we contacted manufacturing for replacement parts, we learned that field-feedback revisions were already being incorporated into the design. Early users had reported arm-support fatigue and leg instability on uneven creek banks.
Those reports had already reached the designer.
What came back was not a small correction. It became the full V2 specification, incorporating three major mechanical improvements along with the PETG material transition.
Because the remaining V1 unit could no longer meet the new standard, we made the decision to eliminate legacy inventory entirely.
Everything going forward is V2.
In effect, one customer’s order helped trigger an upgrade for every future buyer.
PETG can produce slight color variation between batches. Minor shade differences are normal and are a result of the material, not a paint defect.
Built to Order — What Happens After You Buy
We do not currently have V2 Next-Gen units sitting on a shelf.
Your order enters the production queue immediately.
The process is:
Order confirmed → Build started → Final inspection → Tracking issued
Current production time is approximately 3–4 weeks.
Once your unit clears final inspection, it ships within 3–5 business days.
Customer orders take priority over routine inventory production.
The “Don’t Slack Off” System
We hold ourselves financially accountable for mistakes.
If we catch a fitting issue during our own final quality inspection, that order receives a complimentary System Gift — an upgrade, accessory, perk, or similar compensation.
You do not need to request it.
The purpose is simple: if our quality control catches a mistake, the cost lands on us rather than you.
That gives everyone involved in the build a reason to pay attention to tolerances before your equipment leaves the shop.

Q: Can I order one even though there are zero units sitting on the shelf?

Q: How long will mine take?

Q: Will I receive an older V1 unit?
No. No V1 inventory remains. Every customer receives the current V2 specification.
Q: Why did you stop selling the old version?
Our final inspection of the remaining unit revealed fitting issues at the same time field-feedback revisions were already entering production. Rather than continue shipping the older configuration, we moved entirely to V2.
Q: What happens if you catch a mistake on mine?
If a fitting issue is discovered during final QC, your order automatically receives a complimentary System Gift or similar perk.
Q: Can I cancel if my plans change?
Yes. You may cancel for a full refund any time before shipment.
Q: How do I send field feedback?
Reply to any support email or contact us through our social channels. Field feedback goes directly into future revision cycles.
Q: Why PETG instead of an aluminum build?
PETG supports HMO’s additive-manufacturing design and offers useful toughness and moisture resistance for this product. HMO does not claim PETG is universally more durable than aluminum, and this product does not currently have a validated numerical minimum service temperature or absolute UV-life rating. Slight color variation between material batches is normal.

Where do I start!
The Next-Gen runs through material quickly and efficiently with such attention to detail!
One of my biggest reasons I will come back to this company is due to the level of costumer service. I had a small issue with the legs of my Next-Gen and completely forgot Fred they sent me another set of legs. I had a trip coming up and they rushed the shipping for me at no extra cost. The team communicates through the entire process and even now a month later they have been answering questions within the hour.
The products of this company are special however the costumer service is out of this world especially in comparison to other companies.
