#HMOFOUNDIT September 2026 Sweepstakes — Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. Sponsor
The #HMOFOUNDIT September 2026 Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is sponsored by Hobby Miner Outlet LLC, PO Box 24, Newport, OR 97365 ("Sponsor"). Questions may be sent to info@hobbymineroutlet.com with "#HMOFOUNDIT Sweepstakes" in the subject line.
2. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old and have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction when entering. Employees, officers, contractors, agents, and immediate-family or household members of Sponsor are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
3. Entry Period
The September 2026 Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:00 a.m. Pacific Time on September 1, 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. Pacific Time on September 30, 2026. Sponsor's systems and records are the official timekeeping method.
4. How to Enter
There are three free entry methods. No purchase or use of Hobby Miner Outlet equipment is required under any method.
A. Website upload entry
During the Entry Period, visit the September #HMOFOUNDIT entry page and submit the official entry form. Provide the required entrant information, date and description of the find, and an original photograph. The entrant must complete the required eligibility/rules acknowledgement and content-use acknowledgement. Marketing-email consent is optional and is not required to enter.
B. Social-media entry
During the Entry Period, create an original public post containing a photograph of a find you made or own, include the date of the find, include #HMOFOUNDIT and #Sweepstakes, tag Hobby Miner Outlet's official account for the platform, and keep the post public through winner verification. Use of Sponsor equipment is not required.
C. Alternative free email entry
Email info@hobbymineroutlet.com during the Entry Period with subject #HMOFOUNDIT Sweepstakes Entry. Include your full name, state of residence, email address, applicable entry month, and the statement: "I confirm that I am eligible and agree to the #HMOFOUNDIT Official Rules." No photograph, social-media account, purchase, or product use is required for this method.
Entry limit
Limit one entry per person per calendar day, regardless of entry method. Multiple entries submitted through different methods on the same day count as one entry. Automated, bulk, fabricated, incomplete, or duplicate entries may be disqualified. All entry methods provide equal odds.
5. Entry Requirements
An entry must be submitted by an eligible entrant; be original and truthful; not infringe another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights; not identify or visibly feature another person without appropriate permission; not encourage trespassing, unlawful prospecting, environmental damage, or unsafe conduct; and not contain obscene, threatening, discriminatory, defamatory, deceptive, or unlawful material. Social entries must also comply with the applicable platform's rules.
6. Winner Selection
After the Entry Period ends, two potential winners will be selected through a random drawing from all eligible entries received through all entry methods. Odds depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Sponsor will preserve a record of the applicable entry pool, drawing date, selection method, and selected entries.
7. September 2026 Prize Pool
The September 2026 Sweepstakes has two winners and the following published prize pool:
- One HMO Next-Gen Mini-High Banker — quantity 1 — Approximate Retail Value: $264.99.
- One HMO Golden Giant Gold Pan plus one HMO 10-inch PETG Gold Scoop — quantity 1 bundle — Approximate Retail Value: $42.98.
Total Approximate Retail Value of all September prizes: $307.97.
Each confirmed winner will receive one prize randomly assigned from the prize pool. Sponsor will document the random prize assignment. A winner may not select, transfer, exchange, or redeem a prize for cash unless Sponsor expressly permits it in writing. If an advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond Sponsor's reasonable control, Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater approximate retail value. Taxes and expenses not expressly included are the winner's responsibility.
8. Winner Notification and Verification
Potential winners will be contacted using the email address or through social posting announcement's. A potential winner must respond within five calendar days and may be required to provide proof of eligibility, a shipping address, and completed eligibility, tax, or prize-acceptance documents. A potential winner is not confirmed until verification is complete.
9. Optional Winner Content and Reviews
A winner is not required to post an unboxing, first-find report, product review, testimonial, endorsement, or other promotional content as a condition of receiving a prize. If a winner voluntarily discusses a prize or Sponsor, the winner should disclose the material connection clearly, for example: "Prize provided by Hobby Miner Outlet." Sponsor does not require or reward a positive review.
10. Ownership and Content License
Entrants retain ownership of their submitted content.
By submitting a website-upload entry or a social-media entry that includes content, entrant grants Sponsor a perpetual, worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, display, publish, distribute, crop, resize, format, adapt, and incorporate the submitted photograph, caption, story, and related submission content in Sponsor's websites, the #HMOFOUNDIT Finds Wall, promotion-related social media, winner announcements, email marketing, promotional graphics, advertising, and other Hobby Miner Outlet marketing communications, without additional compensation, notice, or approval, subject to applicable law.
Sponsor may edit content for size, format, layout, clarity, or presentation but will not knowingly materially misrepresent the entrant's submission. This license does not transfer copyright ownership to Sponsor.
Submitting an alternative free email entry without content does not grant Sponsor a content license.
11. Public Display and Review
Submission does not guarantee publication on the Finds Wall or any other public channel. Sponsor may review submissions before public display and may decline to publish content for quality, privacy, safety, rights, relevance, or moderation reasons without affecting an otherwise eligible entry.
12. Privacy
Information collected through the Sweepstakes may be used to administer entries, verify eligibility, contact winners, deliver prizes, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and perform the uses described in these Official Rules. Entering does not subscribe an entrant to marketing email unless the entrant separately provides consent.
13. General Conditions
Sponsor may disqualify a person who tampers with the entry process, uses automated entry methods, interferes with the Sweepstakes, submits fraudulent information, or violates these Official Rules. If fraud, technical failure, platform interruption, natural disaster, legal restriction, or another circumstance outside Sponsor's reasonable control materially affects the integrity or operation of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor may suspend, modify, or cancel it subject to applicable law. No modification will be used to select a winner unfairly or retroactively reduce an entrant's legitimate opportunity to win.
14. Release and Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, entrants agree that Sponsor and participating social-media platforms are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, corrupted, misdirected, or inaccessible entries; platform, network, hardware, software, or transmission failures; unauthorized interference with the Sweepstakes; or injury or damage caused by unlawful or unsafe conduct undertaken to create an entry. Nothing in these Official Rules excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Social-Platform Disclaimer
The Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, or any other social-media platform on which an entry may appear.
16. Disputes and Governing Law
Except where prohibited, these Official Rules and the Sweepstakes are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal proceeding arising from the Sweepstakes must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Lincoln County, Oregon, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
17. Winners List
To request the winners list, email info@hobbymineroutlet.com with "#HMOFOUNDIT Winners List — September 2026" in the subject line within 90 days after the Entry Period ends.
18. Acceptance of Rules
By entering, each entrant confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Official Rules.
